Zoning Board of Appeals
In the Village of Glenwood, the Zoning Board of Appeals is an 9 member body that is appointed by the Village Mayor. The Zoning Board of Appeals is responsible for conducting public hearings related to zoning change requests. The Zoning Board recommends the appropriate boundaries of zoning districts, and appropriates regulations to be enforced therein to the Village Board. The Zoning Board prepares a final report for the Village Board on recommendations for change in zoning district boundaries or regulations in zoning districts. The Zoning Board meets on the second Wednesday of every month (If anything is on the Agenda) at 5:30 p.m. in the Village Hall located at One Asselborn Way Glenwood, Illinois. All residents are welcomed and encouraged to attend Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings.
