Curfew

Individuals under the age of 17 are subject to Village Curfew Ordinance. Weekdays: 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and on Saturday and Sunday between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m

It is unlawful for a parent/s or legal guardian/s of an unemancipated minor (under 19 years of age) residing with that parent or legal guardian to fail to exercise proper parental responsibility by allowing or permitting the minor to commit any violation of a village ordinance or state statute concerning vandalism, battery, curfew, disorderly conduct, obscene conduct, trespass, or possession or use of alcoholic liquor, cannabis, or controlled substances, retail theft, fireworks, or any other offense of willful or malicious acts to persons or property. A parent/s or legal guardian/s of a minor who is charged with such offense is given notice that if a similar offense occurs within two years the parent/s or legal guardian/s will be held jointly liable along with the minor for a possible fine or restitution.
