Junk Vehicles

The Police Department will enforce an ordinance prohibiting the parking of inoperable vehicles in the open on private property.  The ordinance states that inoperable vehicles must be housed in a garage or similar structure.

Police will affix a warning sticker on the vehicle to alert the owner to move it.  If the vehicle is not moved within 72 hours, a tow sticker will be put on the vehicle.  Owners in violation of this ordinance are subject to a fine and possible seizure of the vehicle.
