Important Details:
 - Must register for Taxi Program at Glenwood Village Hall
 - You can purchase a maximum of 10-one way vouchers a month per person
 - Taxi services provided by Zip Transportation Service: (708) 499-3333

 - South - Route 30 / Lincoln Hwy
 - East - IL. Rt. 394
 - West - 155th Street - Ingalls Hospital Only

Fare Information:
 - $6.00 one-way voucher
 - $12.00 round-trip voucher
 - Must be purchased ahead of time
 - Available at Glenwood Village Hall

Thornton Township - Senior Transportation The Thornton Township Senior Transportation Program operates a curb-to-curb service for township seniors age 60 and older. Our service complies with all American With Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
Thornton Township - Senior Driving Courses This is an eight hour class room instruction course that refines existing safe, defensive driving techniques.
Thornton Township - Rules of the Road Review Course Thornton Township, in conjunction with the Secretary of State’s Office, offers this course to senior citizens and persons with disabilities to give them the knowledge and confidence needed to pass their drivers license renewal exam
Regional Transportation Authority Passes Senior citizens age 65 years and older can apply for R.T.A. passes under the Senior Citizen Reduced Fare Card Program. Seniors can register for a reduced fare card one month before their 65th birthday.
